We here at Stone Private are pleased to announce a stocking program has begun across several of our waters.
After careful monitoring of several of our waters it was determined that a stocking program needed to be undertaken to bolster the stock of Carp in them. Over the past few years we have undertaken stocking programs that have strengthened the stocks of silver fish and other species including bream and tench and some of the more exotic species like Orfe and koi into the pleasure waters and now it gives us great pleasure to bring to you phase one of the stocking of our specimen waters.
After undertaking a netting to ascertain the stocking levels we have now introduced 10 C3 and C4 mirror carp into Ladycorner. A mixture of lightly scaled fish ranging all the way up to a beautiful fully scaled. Hopefully these new fish will thrive in their new home and give specimen anglers plenty of sport in the years to come.
The decision was also made to freshen up the bloodline in Smithpool and a smaller stocking of 5 C3 and C4 fish have been stocked. The pictures do not do these fish justice and again we hope that these fish will thrive and give anglers many years of pleasure in the future.
