The continuation of the stocking of our specimen lakes gathered pace today and we are pleased to announce several more carp being stocked.
This time it was Parkhall lake that was the main recipient after receiving a fresh intake of 5 common carp to bolster the existing stock.
Ladycorner and Smithpool also received 1 common carp apiece to further add to the mirrors that were stocked.
We as a club will continue to monitor the lakes and act accordingly as and when we feel that a lake needs new stock. Good fishery management is essential and we hope that these newcomers will provide many anglers a healthy bend in the rod in the future.
